ACCOUNT SECURITY PRACTICES

How betyphon Handles Your Data and Account

We have structured our data practices around what you actually need to know — how long we keep your records, who can see them, and how you can change or remove them.

Data Storage

Your personal details and transaction history are stored on encrypted servers. We do not share your data with third-party marketers. UPI and Paytm transaction references are retained only for the period required by applicable financial regulations.

Cookie Policy

We use session cookies to keep your account active and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can adjust cookie preferences from your account settings at any time without affecting your ability to deposit or withdraw.

Account Security

Two-factor authentication is available for all accounts and is strongly encouraged. Login activity is monitored for unusual patterns, and we will notify you via your registered email if a new device accesses your account.

Data Retention

We retain your account records for the duration required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. Once that period lapses and your account is closed, your personal data is deleted from our active systems within 30 days.

Who to Contact

For any data access, correction or deletion request, contact our Data Officer through the email listed in the help centre. Include your registered account email so we can verify your identity before processing any change.

Requesting Changes

You can request a correction to your stored personal data at any time by submitting a written request via email. We will confirm receipt within 24 hours and complete the update within seven business days of identity verification.

Questions About Your Rights and Our Policy

The questions below cover the most common things account holders ask about our terms, data practices and the process for raising a legal concern. If you do not find what you need here, our support team is one message away.

We collect your name, email address, contact number and the payment details you use for UPI, Paytm or PhonePe transactions. We do not collect data beyond what is needed to operate and secure your account under applicable law.

Yes. Submit a written data access request to our Data Officer via the email in the help centre. Include your registered email address so we can verify identity, and we will send a full data export within seven business days.

We retain closed account records for the period required by law in your jurisdiction — typically tied to financial record obligations. After that retention window closes, your personal data is deleted from active systems within 30 days.

We share data only with payment processors like UPI networks, Paytm and PhonePe to complete your transactions, and with fraud prevention services where required. We do not sell or rent your personal details to any third-party marketer.

We notify you by email to your registered address at least 14 days before any material change takes effect. Continuing to use your account after the notice period means you have accepted the updated terms as they apply where local law permits.

Start by contacting our support team via live chat or email with a written description of your concern. If we cannot resolve it at that level, your complaint is escalated to our compliance team, who will respond within five business days.

Access depends on local law and is available only where local law permits. We recommend checking the regulations in your specific state or union territory before opening an account, as permitted access can differ by region within India.
